Two packages to choose from

"Intro to Fly Fishing": Trout Stream Wade Fishing This is a great package as an Intro to fly fishing or for those who have some experience, but want to learn new techniques and have fun! Spend a full day on a beautiful stretch of heavily stocked private stream. Build confidence and learn proven techniques to catch trout that will apply to fly fishing for trout in any type of water. Skills such as knot tying, fly selection, casting, and landing fish will be covered. Lunch and refreshments will be provided on full day trips. River Float Trip Spend a full day experiencing Southwest Pennsylvania's scenic rivers while Flyfishing for smallmouth bass and trout. Learn new techniques to catch bass using topwater flies and streamers. A great trip for those who want to experience a relaxed setting and beautiful scenery, all while honing their skills on explosive smallmouth bass and trout. Also, a great trip for the non-angler who wants to relax and enjoy nature. Lunch and refreshments will be provided for this full day trip. What to Expect

Full day river float trips: Full day drift boat or raft trips begin between 7:00am and 9:00am and finish between 3:00-6:00pm. All equipment included, unless you decide to bring your own. All leaders, flies, tippet etc. provided. Cold water, a packed lunch and refreshments also provided. "Intro to Fly Fishing" wade fishing on private water: Full day class on heavily stocked stream. Starts between 8:00-9:00am and is about 8 hours long. First part of day, you will learn knot tying, fly selection, casting, landing fish, and a whole lot more. Second part of day is on stream fishing and instruction. Rods, reels, all other equipment provided as well as lunch and refreshments.

The Fisheries

I fish a number of different river systems within a few hours drive of Pittsburgh, PA depending on factors such as: time of year, species, water temperature and levels, and distance to the client. I have spent a great deal of time learning and developing skills on each particular river and section I fish. Safety is always my most important concern. As a drift boat guide, being completely familiar with everything in that stretch of river we're fishing is of utmost importance for safety as well as having a successful day.

Intro to Fly Fishing Wade trip Full day rate $325.00 per angler (additional $95.00 rod fee per angler, if private water.) River Float Trip Full day rate $500.00 Max 2 people * A 20% deposit is due when trip is booked, full payment due within 30 days of trip date. * Deposits are non-refundable unless weather is deemed unsafe by guide.
